The hec-python-library equivalent of Jython method **extractTimeSeriesDataForTimeSpecification()**:

Instead, use the ``select()``, ``filter()``, and ``set_interval`` methods (or ``iselect()``, ``ifilter()``, and ``iset_interval``
to modify in-place).
